This year, we celebrated our traditional Christmas party in our dental practice in an unusual way – we went to a go-kart track!
It was an exciting and, above all, fun experience that brought us even closer together as a team.
Jonas Hundertmark
Born in Berlin and raised in the Thuringian Rhön region, Jonas moved to Halle (Saale) in 2018 to study dentistry after completing his training as a dental technician. After graduating in 2023, he began his residency in Merseburg, near Halle.
Since October 2025, he has been a valuable member of the Oxidio team in Gärtringen.
Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann
Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann has now completed three weeks of covering for his practice. Many patients, some of whom he has cared for for decades, took the opportunity to see and speak with him one last time. After all, who knows when he will return? OXIDIO has not yet finalized its vacation plans for 2026. Therefore, we cannot yet say when our senior doctor will be returning from the far north to the south.
Verena
Verena has been a professional dental hygienist since 2012 and successfully completed her advanced training as a Bachelor Professional in Dental Hygiene in September 2025. For her, working as a dental hygienist is more than just a job – it’s her passion.
Alina
We found Alina to join our reception team… or did she find us? Alina and Silke manage contact with our patients together!
Jobs
Our practice is currently looking for:
- dental assistant for chairside assistance
- dentist (m/f/d) part-time
- part-time employee (m/f/d) for practice laundry

IDS in Cologne
At the end of March, we were at the IDS in Cologne, the world’s largest international dental show. This trade fair is huge, so we had to be well-organized. One team of two, for example, looked for specific new materials, another team of two looked for the latest instruments for prophylaxis.
Murder Mystery Dinner!
We recently had a blast at our dental practice – and all without teeth! We hosted a murder mystery dinner: everyone took on a role in a thrilling mystery, while delicious catering was served. It lasted late, there was lots of laughter, and the next day we all had sore stomach muscles!
Emergency Course
Why our annual emergency course is always a highlight! Every year – and every year it’s just as important as the last. Our dental practice completed an emergency course again this year to be prepared for any situation. Don’t worry, we not only learned how to act correctly in an emergency, but also had a lot of fun!
Team on Tour
We not only work together hand in hand, but also share the joy of shared leisure activities. Whether it’s team events, sports, or simply a casual get-together.
Call for Hair Donations
A Positive Effect on Aesthetics and Oral Health is the Goal – Anyone who is naturally blessed with beautiful teeth can consider themselves fortunate. Consistent oral hygiene will significantly contribute to maintaining the positive and healthy appearance of their teeth. In the simplest case, cosmetic dentistry can provide support through regular professional teeth cleaning.
Cavities in Siblings
New Study: Higher Cavity Risk in Siblings – Children ages six and older should have a dental check-up every six months. This is especially important if a child in the family has already had cavities, as a research team at the University of Basel has now discovered.
Did you know that our Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann bakes?
Among his many hobbies, baking is another great passion. His house has a cozy, professionally equipped bakery. Dr. Winkelmann is a true pro. He gives his delicious products to his numerous acquaintances, but he expects a donation from them. This donation is then transferred to the “Helfende Hände e.V.” (Helping Hands) association in Stuttgart for the homeless.
Interview with Lukas Winkelmann
In his interview with the magazine for young dentists “dentalfresh,” Lukas Winkelmann talks about his dental studies at one of the Ivy League universities in the USA, the differences between American and German dentistry, and his daily work in the family practice alongside his father, Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann.
Two reasons to celebrate
