IDS in Cologne
At the end of March, we were at the IDS in Cologne, the world’s largest international dental show. This trade fair is huge, so we had to be well-organized. One team of two, for example, looked for specific new materials, another team of two looked for the latest instruments for prophylaxis.
Murder Mystery Dinner!
We recently had a blast at our dental practice – and all without teeth! We hosted a murder mystery dinner: everyone took on a role in a thrilling mystery, while delicious catering was served. It lasted late, there was lots of laughter, and the next day we all had sore stomach muscles!
Emergency Course
Why our annual emergency course is always a highlight! Every year – and every year it’s just as important as the last. Our dental practice completed an emergency course again this year to be prepared for any situation. Don’t worry, we not only learned how to act correctly in an emergency, but also had a lot of fun!
Team on Tour
We not only work together hand in hand, but also share the joy of shared leisure activities. Whether it’s team events, sports, or simply a casual get-together.
Call for Hair Donations
A Positive Effect on Aesthetics and Oral Health is the Goal – Anyone who is naturally blessed with beautiful teeth can consider themselves fortunate. Consistent oral hygiene will significantly contribute to maintaining the positive and healthy appearance of their teeth. In the simplest case, cosmetic dentistry can provide support through regular professional teeth cleaning.
Cavities in Siblings
New Study: Higher Cavity Risk in Siblings – Children ages six and older should have a dental check-up every six months. This is especially important if a child in the family has already had cavities, as a research team at the University of Basel has now discovered.
Did you know that our Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann bakes?
Among his many hobbies, baking is another great passion. His house has a cozy, professionally equipped bakery. Dr. Winkelmann is a true pro. He gives his delicious products to his numerous acquaintances, but he expects a donation from them. This donation is then transferred to the “Helfende Hände e.V.” (Helping Hands) association in Stuttgart for the homeless.
Interview with Lukas Winkelmann
In his interview with the magazine for young dentists “dentalfresh,” Lukas Winkelmann talks about his dental studies at one of the Ivy League universities in the USA, the differences between American and German dentistry, and his daily work in the family practice alongside his father, Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann.
