Dr. Reinhard Winkelmann

Dr Winkelmann graduated from high school in Ravensburg in 1974 and studied dentistry in Freiburg with an exam and subsequent doctorate in 1980. He then worked as a medical officer in the German Armed Forces and spent his assistantship in Stuttgart from 1981 to 1983. In 1983 he set up his own practice in Gärtringen. He carried out intensive further training activities with Prof. Jan Lindhe, Gothenburg, Prof. Motsch, Göttingen, Prof. Lang, Münster, et al.

From 1988, Dr. Winkelmann was involved in professional politics, including as a delegate to the representative meetings of the KZV Stuttgart and the district dentists’ association in Stuttgart until 2010. He was also head of the economic audit from 1993 to 2001 and a member of the board of the KZV Stuttgart from 2001 to 2005, as well as accounting officer at the KZV Baden-Württemberg BD Stuttgart from 2005 until 2010. The resignation from all honorary posts took place in 2010. From 1990 to 2013 Dr. Winkelmann is an active consultant in the field of practice management, coding and billing. In his practice, he also assumes the role of technical manager and system administration. In his free time, he enjoys filming (“Refuge” and “Visual Flight” have been released so far) and golf.

Dr. Winkelmann now lives in the north of Germany, in Schleswig-Holstein, near Flensburg. He has found his retirement home there and enjoys taking his dog for an early morning walk along the fjord. So you can meet him there!
